Welcome to the homepage of the artist Herbert Ploberger!

Herbert Ploberger is one of the most important representatives of the New Realism in Austria.

In the twenties he lived in Berlin and presented his works in exhibitions of the New Realism in Germany and the Netherlands. Most of his paintings were destroyed during a heavy bomb attack in the World War II. Nowadays just a few of his paintings are preserved and shown in exhibitions in museums in Austria. In 2002 the Museum der Siegel und Stempel in Wels (Upper Austria) organized in cooperation with the Nordico Museum in Linz an exhibition of Herbert Ploberger on occasion of his 110th birthday.

Widder Fine Arts presents the works of the artist in the gallery and on various art shows. We are looking forward to show you some of his works during your visit.
